EXsessions is a platform for one-on-one video sessions with experienced professionals. Clients find a professional, book a session, and meet over secure video. Providers monetise their expertise and experience through our platform.
Two groups. Clients who want direct access to senior, specialist expertise on demand — for advice, problem-solving, decisions, or a second opinion. Providers (consultants, advisors, coaches, influencers, specialists, former executives, experienced operators, indusrty professionals) who want to monetise their knowledge through paid sessions with minimal admin.
At launch, payouts are supported for providers in Australia, and sessions are priced in Australian Dollars (AUD). Clients can book and pay from anywhere their card is accepted. Additional provider countries and currencies will roll out in due course.

Yes — you'll create an account at checkout so you can access your session link, messages, receipts, and reviews in one place.
Come with a clear question or outcome in mind. Most providers will ask you a short intake question when you book, so they can prepare. Sessions run on time, focus on your agenda, and end with clear next steps.
Not directly — messaging isn't available before you book. The best way to check fit is the provider's free 10-min discovery call, if they offer one. Otherwise, the session details on their storefront are written to help you decide whether a paid session is right for you.
Yes. Once a session is booked, and for a period after your session, you and your provider can message each other through EXsessions to share context, agendas, or links relevant to your session.
Experienced professionals with real expertise in their field. We review each application to keep the quality bar high. There's no strict minimum years of experience, but providers should be able to deliver genuine value in a focused 30–90 minute session.
Click Become a provider and complete the onboarding flow. You'll set up your profile, describe your expertise, define your offers and pricing, and submit your storefront for review. We'll get back to you once your application has been reviewed.
At launch, providers can list up to four session types:
Written deliverables, courses, retainers, and multi-week programs aren't supported at this stage. We'll let providers know as new offer types become available.
We use Stripe Connect. Once you've completed Stripe onboarding and verified your identity, payouts go directly to your connected bank account on Stripe's standard schedule.
EXsessions charges a 10% platform commission on each paid session. Clients also pay a small booking fee on transactions above a low threshold. Exact rates are shown in your provider dashboard and on every invoice — there are no hidden fees and no monthly subscription.
Yes. You set the price for each offer, and you can change it at any time.
Set your weekly working hours and block out time as needed. Your availability on EXsessions is the source of truth for bookings.
Sessions run over our built-in video. You join from a link in your confirmation email or your dashboard — no app install required, just a modern browser.
A stable internet connection, a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox), a working mic, and a camera. Join a few minutes early so you can check your audio and video.
Recording is off by default. Mutual consent is legally required for recording.
If either side loses connection, rejoin using the same link. If the session can't proceed due to a technical issue on our side, we'll work with you and the provider to reschedule or refund in whole or part.
Yes — up to the cutoff shown on your booking. Cancellations and reschedules are managed from your dashboard. Late cancellations may not be refundable; the specific window is shown before you confirm the booking.
If a provider is a no-show, you'll be refunded in full. Report it from your booking page and we'll follow up.
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe.
At launch, sessions are priced and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD). Your bank handles any currency conversion if your card is in another currency. Additional currencies are coming.
A small flat booking fee is added to transactions above a minimum threshold to cover payment processing and platform costs. The fee is always shown clearly at checkout before you pay.
For Australian clients booking Australian providers who are GST-registered, GST is shown separately and included in the total. For bookings outside Australia, tax handling depends on the provider's country and registration — details are shown on your invoice.
Yes. A tax invoice is emailed after every successful payment and is also available in your dashboard.
For single sessions, you can cancel more than 24 hours before the session for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are eligible for a 50% refund.
If your provider cancels, you will have 14 days to reschedule. If the session is not rescheduled within that time, you will receive a full refund automatically. Provider no-shows and technical failures caused by EXsessions are also eligible for a full refund.
For session packs, you can receive a full refund if you change your mind within 48 hours of purchase and have not yet booked any sessions. If a provider cancels sessions that cannot be rescheduled, you will receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the pack.
For individual sessions booked using a session pack, the standard cancellation rules apply: cancelling more than 24 hours before the session restores the session credit to your pack, while cancelling within 24 hours forfeits that credit.
Refund policies may change from time to time. Refunds are assessed in accordance with the EXsessions Terms, the applicable booking terms, and EXsessions’ reasonable discretion.
Yes — you can pay with a corporate card at checkout, and the tax invoice will include the billing details you enter. Many providers on EXsessions also work directly with corporate clients.
Three sessions with the same provider, sold as a bundle at a discount (typically 5–20% off the single-session price). Good for work that's bigger than one conversation — e.g. preparing for a launch, working through a decision over time, or ongoing advisory.
You pay once. Each of the three sessions is booked separately through the provider's calendar, whenever it suits you both.
Yes — packs have an expiry window shown at checkout. Use all three sessions before the expiry date.
Packs are linked to your account and the purchasing provider. Transfers are limited; contact support if you have a special case.
Unused sessions may be refundable depending on how much time has passed, the circumstances, and the provider's chosen policy. Contact support and we'll look at it.
Yes. We review every provider application, verify identity via Stripe for payouts, and monitor reviews and session outcomes.
We use industry-standard infrastructure with row-level security for data storage, Stripe for payments (we never store your card), and encrypted video. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it's used.
Providers on EXsessions agree under our Provider Terms to treat session content as confidential. However, both clients and professionals remain responsible for what confidential, sensitive, commercial, personal, or legally privileged information they choose to share during a session.
EXsessions is developing optional NDA tools to help users put additional confidentiality arrangements in place where needed. Until then, users should avoid sharing highly sensitive information unless they are comfortable doing so and have made their own arrangements.
Contact support with the booking details. We review messages, session logs, and payment records, technical records, and mediate a fair outcome — a refund, a redo, or a partial credit, depending on the situation.
Sign up with your email during booking, or from the Sign up link at the top of the site. You'll verify your email before you can book.
Use Forgot password on the sign-in page — we'll email you a reset link.
Yes. One account, two modes. You can book sessions and also provide sessions from the same login.
We retain transaction and invoice records as required by law, but you can pause and resume your account at any time through your settings page. If you have any queries you can contact www.exsessions.com/support.
